KSF completed multinational exercise, KFOR 23’’ in Germany
A contingent of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) leaded by Capt.Fatmir Lani and comprised of 16 members , a squadron of nine members of Company for Chemical Nuclear and Biological Protection and a team of five (5) members for disposal of unexploded ordnance of the Demining Company as well two observers-controllers from 19th June up to 11th July 2017 is taking part in the joint exercise ,,KFOR 23’’ in the American Military Base for Europe(USAREUR), to the Joint Multinational Readiness Center for Hohenfels of Federal Republic of Germany.
To closely see final stage of the exercise,, KFOR 23’’ of the KSF contingent who joined Brigade 39 of the Infantry (39th IBCT) of American Army for Europe (USAREUR), in the Distinguished Visitor Day in Germany expect American senior militaries and other NATO countries ,yesterday , BG.Zymer Halimi, Director of Operation in Ministry for Kosovo Security Force accompanied by Mr.Jahir Sejdiu.
General Halimi, received feedback from conductor of the exercise who highly appreciated the commitment, discipline and professionalism shown by the KSF members.
During training and activities of this exercise EOD team has mission to make detecting and remove unexploded ordnance disposal whereas CHNBP has assessed the contaminated area.
A contingent of the Kosovo Security Force after successfully completion of the exercise ,, KFOR 23’’, which was leaded by Joint Multinational Readiness Center is expected to be back in the country and continues its professional and committed service.
